Truffle and porcini mushroom cream by Centro Tartufi Molise is a dressing made with extra virgin olive oil, porcini mushrooms and summer black truffle from Molise. It is a natural cream where all the original aromas of the ingredients are preserved. The 'meat', or gleba in the Italian technical language, of the summer black truffle is characterized by a hazelnut colour while the peridium, which is the 'skin' of the truffle shows a black-brownish colour.
How it's made | The truffle and porcini mushroom cream is made with summer truffle, named because of its ripening period which is between the end of May and end of August. 80% of the product is made up with porcini mushrooms picked in the Molise woods. |
