Aglianico Mastroberardino is a wine made with native Campania Aglianico grapes. This is the red most cultivated red grape variety in Irpinia that here finds its balance after considering the particular climatic conditions thanks to the presence of the volcano Vesuvius. The Aglianico grapes are manually harvested around the end of october and beginning of november and taken to the cellar for vinification. The must is placed in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation with maceration with the skins from which colors and aromas are extracted and transferred to the wine enriching Aglianico Mastroberardino. After fermentation the wine is separated from the skins and placed in aging in French oak barrels for 10 months before being blended and bottled. Mastroberardino Aglianico remains in the cellar for 6 months before being released.
