Quadra Franciacorta QSaten Brut

Quadra Franciacorta QSaten is the Franciacorta Saten millesimato of Quadra Winery, the term refers to a particular type of Franciacorta wine named Saten that has a lower pressure in the bottle which is around 4.5 bar unlike 6 bar found in other types of Franciacorta wines. The second difference is that the Saten Franciacorta is produced only with white grapes in this case from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. The grapes are harvested between mid-August and early September and taken to the cellar for a gentle pressing. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels and the wine is matured on fine lees for 8 months before blending. The cuvee is the blend of base wines that will make up the Quadra Franciacorta QSaten which is bottled after adding sugar and yeast that will allow the second fermentation in the bottle and the appearance of bubbles. After 41 months, the Quadra Franciacorta QSaten is disgorged and released on the market.
