Prosecco Val d'Oca Argento is a wine made with 100% Glera grapes which are hand-harvested in September. For the production of this Prosecco the cold maceration is used, in order to get the most and the best of the aromatic potential of the Glera grapes. After pressing, musts ferment at a controlled temperature in steel tanks where they stay until blending. Once blended, the wines start the second fermentation in autoclave; this process lasts for about 15-20 days and allows the development of the bubbles in Prosecco Val d'Oca Argento. After this, the other processes like pouring, filtration and bottling are carried out isobarically to avoid to damage the perlage of the wine. It is an Prosecco DOC, slightly abboccato and with a sugar level of 16 g/l.
