Barbaresco Pio Cesare is made with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Pio Cesare family owned cru Bricco and San Stefanetto in Treiso. Nebbiolo is manually harvested and taken to the cellar for destemming and alcoholic fermentation with skin contact that lasts for 20 days at a temperature of 28 ° C. Barbaresco Pio Cesare is separated from the skins and placed in oak barrels and 20 and 50 HL casks for 30 months of aeging.
