Petit Arvine Les Cretes Valle d'Aosta DOC

Petit Arvine Les Cretes is a typical product of the Aosta Valley, the grape Petit Arvine is so called because of the small size of its berries, was introduced into the region from about 1970 thanks to the 'Agricultural Institute of Valle d'Aosta. The Les Cretes winery cultivates Petit Arvine on morainic, loose, sloping sandy soil with west/south exposure at an altitude of 550 to 750 meters above sea level. The grapes used for the wine Petit Arvine Les Cretes are harvested manually around the end of September, in the cellar are pressed and the must is fermented in steel and aged with weekly batonages for 2 months after which it is bottled.
