How it's made | The Piennolo's tomato passata is made by picking the tomatoes when fully ripened at a weight of 25g. Paying attention not to damage them, the tomatoes are washed, cut in half and their seeds removed. Afterwards they are cooked and then put in a specific machine that squeezes them releasing the pureed tomatoes. Salt and basil are then added. Bottling and sterilization hen takes place. |
