Negresco Ca Maiol is a wine made with red classic grapes of the Garda Classico area. The name derives from the famous Hotel Negresco" located in Nice, France. The grapes are manually-harvested in mid-September and taken to the cellar for crushing, fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and maceration lasts for about 25 days at a temperature of 28 ° C. At the end of this process the Negresco is separated from the skins and placed for 12 months in French oak barrels, after this period Negresco is blended and bottled.
