Müller Thurgau Caprile Peter Zemmer Alto Adige DOC is a wine of the company Peter Zemmer, Müller Thurgau is a grape variety that comes from the cross between Riesling x Madeleine Royal that the scholars Müller and Thurgau created creating a new variety with unique characteristics. Müller Thurgau Caprile Peter Zemmer wine comes from grapes cultivated on a slope at 800m a.s.l. with an excellent sun exposure which allows an excellent ripening of the grapes. When the grapes reach perfect ripeness they are harvested and the vinification takes place only after 6 hours of cold maceration which allows the transfer of aromatic compounds from the skins to the must. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 19°C.
