Lugana Ca Maiol Prestige is a wine that comes from a selection of 25 hectares of the oldest Trebbiano di Lugana vines of the Maiolo estate, headquarter of the company. The grapes are hand-harvested and brought to the press as quickly as possible. Musts are clarified and inoculated with selected yeast which will help the alcoholic fermentation to occur at a controlled temperature. Lugana Prestige is bottled in the spring after the harvest after a period of refinement on its lees in steel tanks.
