How it's made The production of the extra pear and cinnamon jam by Cà Vecchia starts when the pears are picked by hand and only those ones which are intact and not damaged are used. Once selected and washed, the pears are cooked and then sugar is added. Also cinnamon is used which gives the jam its taste. These are the only ingredients used to make the Cà Vecchia jams. The word extra indicates the high percentage of fruit in the jam.
Storage Once opened, the jam needs to be stored in the fridge.
