Poggio Mandorlo is a relatively young winery in the oenological landscape, in fact it was founded in 2001 by 4 friends who had a dream: to produce their wine in a fantastic land they have always loved: the Maremma. We are talking about the area at the foot of Mount Amiata at the beginning of the Val d'Orcia, the vineyards are located at an altitude of about 400m above sea level after a careful study of the soil and the territories they started to plant 12 hectares of vineyards of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon selected in Bordeaux and Sangiovese superclones selected at Montalcino. The results are real Supertuscan with elegance, character, texture, freshness and many personalities starting with the Guardiano, arriving at Le Querce and finishing at Poggio Mandorlo Maremma Toscana.
