Monte Rossa is one of the most famous wineries in Franciacorta, founded in 1972 by entrepreneur Paul Rabotti who immediately sensed the need to invest in the "metodo classico" sparkling Franciacorta wine production and research rather than in still wines. Monte Rossa vineyards are located in several areas of the Franciacorta and all cru are vinified separately to allow the purest expression of each cru and then look for the right balance of the cuvee in the cellar. The land on which lie the vineyards of Monte Rossa are moraine-glacial origin and are stuck in the hills of an "amphitheater" which is the Franciacorta that protects vineyards. Today the company is led by Emanuele Rabotti that made Monte Rossa Franciacorta one of the most famous wineries and the recognizable style. How can we forget the prestigious Monte Rossa Cabochon elegant Monte Rossa Prima Cuvèe today Monte Rossa produces around 500,000 bottles a year and manages approximately 70 hectares of vineyard.
