The wines of the estate Hans Rottensteiner are the most typical and unadulterated expression of the territory of Bolzano, the Rottensteiner itself. The name itself comes from "Rotten", which means "red" and "Stainer", which characterize the Bolzano soils. The estate was founded in 1956 by grandfather Hans Rottensteiner. Today, the winery is run by his son Toni and his nephew Hannes, who specialize in the production of quality wines in bottles (in the time of Hans, the wine was mainly sold in bulk) in Switzerland) and the pure interpretation of the Territory of Bolzano. The vast majority of Rottensteiner wines are varietal, in order to express the typicality of each grape variety and to bring to the glass. Today, Rottensteiner Estate owns 10 hectares of own vineyard and there are more than 60 winegrowers who passionately and passionately support Rottensteiner in exporting the quality of Bolzano wines to the world.
