In Italy Ferrari is synonymous of quality, and we are not talking about cars. The legendary story of Ferrari starts at the beginning of the 1900's when Giulio Ferrari realized that it was also possible in Italy to produce a great Champenois of the same quality of the French masters of Champagne, and he was right! In his first attempts, he vinified Chardonnay grapes and it is thanks to Giulio Ferrari that the Chardonnay variety arrived in Italy. Since he did not have any children, he had to pass down his company to someone who was not part of the family and he chose Bruno Lunelli, who was the owner of a wine shop in the town of Trento. He grew the company without ever compromising on quality. Today the company is one of the most important companies in the region of Trentino and produces real wine gems, famous all over the world. Its production is around 4,200,000 bottles owning 120 hectares of vineyards and 500 wine growers.
