Il Viandante Organic Montepulciano San Zenone Is the first organic wine produced by the San Zenone winery. Il Viandante was strongly desired by the winery, it is produced with grapes coming from about one hectare of vineyards and name Viandante is the same as the vineyard. The quality of harvested grape must be perfect, once the grapes are destemmed are introduced into small steel tanks at controlled temperature, fermentation and maceration last for about 15 days.After that Il Viandante is separated from the skins and Malolactic fermentation is followed. SO2 content is very low in every phase of the production, the wine is bottled in the following year, natural decantation is carried out without filtration and stabilization.
