The hot peppers with anchovies are produced by Masseria Quarto dei Greci in Molise. Spicy chilli peppers with anchovies are a delicious product, excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to meat dishes. The spiciness of chilli marries in an optimal way to anchovies and capers which compose the filling. Once the peppers are harvested they are scalded with vinegar and wine, then they are washed and stuffed. The products of the Quarto dei Greci farm are natural, the product is grown in the land owned.
How it's made | The washed and selected peppers are deprived of the core and seeds. They are then blanched in a solution of vinegar, wine and lemon juice; cooled and well dried we proceed to topping with anchovies and capers, the potting and the cover with extra virgin olive oil. The product is pasteurized to ensure its shelf life. |
