Friulano Alturis is a wine produced by the Alturis winery in Friuli, which is perhaps the most representative of this area with its name: Friulano. Friulano is the name of the vine that was first locally called Tocai, grown in the plains and hills of the area in front of Cividale del Friuli. The grapes are harvested and brought to the winery around the first decade of September and gentle pressed. The musts ferment in vitrified cement tanks at about 18 ° C for 15 days to allow yeasts to express the aromatic potential of the Friulano variety. In the spring following Friulano Alturis harvest, it is blended and bottled.
