How it's made | The production of the extra fruit jam by Cà Vecchia starts when the apricots are picked by hand and only the ones which are intact and not damaged are used. Once selected and washed, the apricots are cooked and then sugar is added. These are the only two ingredients used to make the Cà Vecchia jams. The word extra indicates the high percentage of fruit in the jam, in this case apricot pulp, which is an average of 40% of apricot more than in the other jams. |
