Cabernet Sauvignon Alturis

Cabernet Sauvignon Alturis is a wine produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Friuli Venezia Giulia in the vineyards of the Tenuta Alturis. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are manually harvested in September and brought to the winery for crushing, the must ferments with the skins in steel tanks for about 15 days at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. During this period of maceration the skin substances spread in the wine enriching it from the point of view of color, structure and perfumes and at the same time the sugars of the must are transformed into alcohol. After fermentation, the Cabernet Sauvignon Alturis wine is separated from the skins and placed in 5 HL tonneaux for a short period before blending and bottling.
