Bricco del Drago Poderi Colla Langhe DOC

Bricco del Drago Poderi Colla is a wine produced with Dolcetto and Nebbiolo grapes from the Piedmontese winery Poderi Colla. The Bricco del Drago Poderi Colla is a wine that comes from a particular vineyard, the Bricco del Drago: west exposure is located at an altitude between 330 and 400 meters above sea level. The Bricco del Drago is a vineyard of Dolcetto that gives this grape a truly exceptional complexity and degree of ripeness that deserve to be vinified in purity and to give life to a dedicated bottle that is precisely the Bricco del Drago Poderi Colla wine. The Dolcetto and Nebbbiolo grapes are harvested and brought to the winery for fermentation which takes place at controlled temperature for about 5-8 days for Dolcetto and 10-12 days for Nebbiolo, then the Bricco del Drago wine Poderi Colla is separated from the skins and placed in aging in oak barrels for 18-24 months depending on the characteristics of the vintage. The fundamental characteristic of the Bricco del Drago Poderi Colla wine is the blend of 85% of Dolcetto wine and 15% of Nebbiolo wine which together create an admirable balance.
