This Convento della Santissima Annunciata Chardonnay is a wine with an incredible personality and elegance. The friars of this convent have always been producing an excellent wine with this grapes and Bellavista has been nominated to interpret this beautiful territory. Grapes are hand-harvested when both the aromatic and technological maturity have reached their perfect level. Grapes are soft-pressed and musts ferment in small French oak barrels for 12 months before blending. After another year of ageing in tanks and another one in bottle, the wine is ready to be released.

Terroir	Il Convento della Santissima Annunciata è un vigneto che sorge ai piedi di un convento del 1449 sul Monte Orfano nel comune di Rovato (Bs). E' un appezzamento di 5 45 Ha in forte pendenza infatti il vigneto è stato pensato su dei terrazzamenti costruiti dai frati stessi con muri a secco riempiti con terra autoctona. La sua esposizione perfetta e le caratteristiche del suolo lo rendono un territorio estremamente vocato alla viticoltura da vino. Più nello specifico si sono individuate due parcelle in questo vigneto che coincidono con due zone con caratteristiche pedologiche differenti una prima rocciosa ricoperta da un fine strato sabbioso con forte presenza di carbonati e una seconda molto più profonda mediamente argillosa con una buona presenza in calcare. Queste due parcelle vengono vinificate separatamente e solo in un secondo momento vengono assemblate per dare origine al Convento della Santissima Annunciata. La metodologia di potatura è il guyot e la ensità d'impianto è di 5000 piante/Ha.
