Barbera D'Alba DOC Sandrone is a wine produced with Barbera grapes grown in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, cultivating Barbera on the hills of Barolo allows the Sandrone winery to obtain wines with recognizable profiles exploiting these unique land and with a so particular microclimate. The Barbera grapes are harvested manually and brought to the cellar for fermentation that occurs spontaneously in conical trunk open vats for about 10 days at a temperature of 28 ° C. After the alcoholic fermentation, the Barbera D'Alba DOC Sandrone wine is separated from the skins and aged in barriques and French oak barrels of first and second passage. After 15 months the wines that make Barbera d'Alba DOC Sandrone are blended and bottled.
