The DOCG Barbaresco by Produttori di Barbaresco is made exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the best Barbaresco cru. Nebbiolo is an extraordinary variety because it has undeniable aromatic qualities but also an incredible potential in producing full-bodied and timeless wines. This wine is from the cru of Montefico, where the Nebbiolo is hand-harvested in October when the perfect phenolic ripeness is reached. Then it ferments in steel tanks at a temperature of 30°C in maceration for about 28 days. After this time, the wine is separated from the skins and put in oak barrels for 36 months. After being aged in oak barrels, wine is blended, bottled and then rests for one year before being released on the market.

| Terroir | Il vigneto Montefico è un cru di Nebbiolo nella zona di Barbaresco che viene vinificato dalla cantina Produttori del Barbaresco. Questo vigneto è una collina dalla forma non regolare il vigneto Produttori del Barbaresco ha un'estensione di 3 8 Ha esposti a sud i suoli sono di composizione argillo-calcarea dato il substrato marnoso di origine marina ed ha un'altitudine di circa 250 m sldm. La pendenza della collina è rilevante questo permette alle acque di scolare a fondovalle lasciando sempre il suolo asciutto ed obbligando le radici delle piante a penetrare il suolo in profondità cercando nutrienti. Questo insieme al clima particolarmente favorevole rende questo cru un esempio unico di vocazionalità vinicola la collina di forma concava protegge i grappoli dalle intemperie incanalando i venti e garantisce una'ottima insolazione. La forma di allevamento è la spalliera con potatura aguyot ed una densità di impoianto di circa 4000 ceppi/Ha. |
