La Bandina Valpolicella Superiore DOC

Bandina Valpolicella Superiore is a Valpolicella Superiore DOC wine produced by the Tenuta Sant'Antonio winery. The Bandina takes its name from a flag on the roof of the house Castagnedi. The vineyards stand on a white soil with limestone dominant skeleton, with a sandy lime fraction. The grapes are hand harvested in 25 kg boxes in late October. Once in the winery the grapes are pressed and alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with selected organic yeasts. Then Bandina Valpolicella Superiore also undergoes Malolactic natural fermentation at 22/23 degrees. Repeated Batonnage are performed every 15 days until blending and bottling.
