The balsamic vinegar of Modena IGP Oro Fattoria Estense is a selected product aged in oak barrels and represents a quality of vinegar that is aged for at least 3 years, the minimum ageing time for the balsamic vinegar is 3 years in order to get the quality guarantee. Made by the Alico company, this vinegar has the IGP designation. The balsamic vinegar Oro is a product of excellence: it shows a velvety texture, a medium-full body, dark colour typical of vinegars aged in oak.

How it's made The balsamic vinegar of Modena IGP can be produced only in the areas of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The production of the balsamic vinegar starts with the pressing of the grapes that, as mentioned before, are local such as the Lambrusco and Trebbiano. The IGP designation requires at least a part of the grapes to be worked in the area stated by the regulations. For the Oro quality the ageing is at least 3 years in fine oak.

The balsamic vinegar Oro is a fine and elegant product. We suggest to pair it with meat such as grilled fillets, or with aged cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino cheese.
