How it's made | The Mantuan mustard by Cà Vecchia is made with pears of the company. Once picked, the pears need to be peeled, the core removed and the sugar added. After repeating this procedure a few times, the pears are then boiled for a few minutes and the mustard essence added. Cà Vecchia uses 64% of pears, sugar and lemon skin in its mustard. Afterwards the jam is packed. |
