Amarone della Valpolicella Lamberti is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes grown in the best vineyards of the Lamberti estates, those vineyards are located in the classic Valpolicella area Guyot pruned and grown in limestone-stony soils and especially well exposed areas in which the grapes can reach a good ripeness level all vintages ensuring a high quality standard. The grapes that compose Amarone Lamberti are strictly manually harvested around the beginning of October, and bunches are placed in little boxes for drying. Drying process is carried out in rooms with controlled humidity and ventilation allowing dehydration of the berries and then the concentration of musts, this process lasts for about 100 days until crushing and destemming and so the fermentation with maceration of the grapes. After fermentation Amarone Lamberti is placed for 18 months in French oak casks and barriques, then it is blended and bottled. Amarone Lamberti is matured in bottle for 4 months before being released on the market.
