Pastificio Maiella
Organic Maiella Italian Pasta
Pastificio Maiella has been producing pasta since 1946. In the heart of the Majella National Park, at the foot of the mountain, is the perfect location for the production of pasta, thanks to the pure water flowing from the uncontaminated springs in the park that Pastificio Maiella then uses to make its pasta. Today the pasta factory has three production lines: one for the long-shhaped pasta such as the traditional spaghetti alla chitarra and one for the short-shaped one. The organic and whole wheat lines are separated from the generic lines. The wheat used is mostly from Abruzzo and flour produced is controlled and analyzed by the specialists daily. Two dies are used, one bronze and the traditional Teflon one. Foodexplore offers handmade pasta online and selected for you the Organic bronze-drawn pasta and the whole wheat pasta.
